My name is Jonathan Rothwell, and I'm of the species homo sapiens sapien. Or so my mother claims. I live somewhere on Sol III (known by its inhabitants as Earth) and don't generally give out a lot of information about myself on the Internet.
Sometimes I write offal at my blog, which sometimes recieves tens of dozens of hits in a single year. I can also be found lurking at the Backfeed Forums which I administrate.
My political position does not really fall in line with any political party currently in office. I describe it as centre of left of left of left of centre of left of left. (Cue the emails saying "you liberal, foul-nosed ****, you will burn in hell".)
I am a proficient computer user, probably because I started tapping my fingers on the keyboard first in Windows 3.11 when I was around three. Over time, I've gained a lot of experience with Windows, Linux, Macintosh and UNIX-based computers, and continue to be a new (and old) technology connoisseur to this day.
Will you fix my computer?
Probably not. I will answer questions posted to the Backfeed Forums, but since August 2007 I've had a policy of not responding to E-mails sent directly to me asking for computer help.
